I copied that over to the new vista premium laptop and opened up vista easy transfer and pointed to the USMT2.UNC folder. Should that work only I cannot get it to work that way? - I haven't got an easy transfer cable so I had to burn it on a CD. Don't use FAST, use WET, Windows Easy Transfer.

I am using a easy transfer cable from Gigaware to move programs from my XP (SP2) based computer to my new Vista based computer using Easy Transfer Companion. I installed the Gigaware software according to the directions. When I run the Companion software it scans the XP computer just fine.
